Ace director Selvaraghavan started a new journey in his cinema career as an actor. He is all set to make his debut as the lead in 'Saani Kaayidham'. Also, Selva has been roped in to Thalapathy Vijay's 'Beast' as one of the villains. While the netizens are eager to witness the sensational director's acting skills, the updates of his debut venture is storming the internet in the last few days.

'Saani Kaayidham' is said to be an action drama set in the 1980s. Keerthy Suresh is co-starring Selva as the other lead in this film is directed by Arun Matheswaran. Arun has worked as an assistant director of Thiagarajan Kumararaja in the National award-winning movie 'Aaranya Kaandam' and he is also the dialogue writer of Sudha Kongara's 'Irudhi Suttru'.

The shooting of Saani Kaayidham was wrapped up in Rameshwaram yesterday. And today, Selvaraghavan has started dubbing for his portions. The picture of Selva from the dubbing, which was dropped a while ago, is currently trending on social media. Keerthy will join the dubbing soon. Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that Saani Kaayidham is likely to have an OTT release.

While Arun Matheswaran's directorial debut 'Rocky' has been confirmed as a Netflix release and awaiting a final date, reports are saying that the makers are thinking about releasing Saani Kaayidham on Amazon Prime Video.
