Ace director Selvaraghavan found fame with his first two films 'Thulluvadho Ilamai' and 'Kadhal Kondein' both starring his brother Dhanush. His third film '7G Rainbow Colony' had Ravi Krishna the son of popular producer A.M. Ratnam in the lead role while actress Sonia Aggarwal made her debut. The film was released in 2004 and received a huge response both from critics and at the box office.
Now after two decades the sequel to the film is being made with Ravi Krishna returning as hero and Selvaraghavan and Yuvan Shankar Raja all set to recreate their magic. The news is that Selva has finalised young Malayalam actress Anaswara Rajan as the female lead.
Anaswara who debuted as a child artiste in 'Udaharanam Sujatha' starring Manju Warrier has since acted in lead roles in several films. In Tamil she has played the niece of Trisha in 'Raangi' and also appeared in 'Thugs'. Her recent performance in 'Padmini' was well received and she is also starring in the Hindi film 'Yaariyan 2'.
'7G Rainbow Colony 2' is all set to go on floors in September and is produced on a grand scale by A.M. Ratnam who is keen for the comeback of his son. The rest of the cast and crew details will be out soon.
