'Srimanthudu' turned out to be a blockbuster and has minted huge money in all the areas. The film has been released in Tamil Nadu and Kerala as 'Selvandhan' and has been declared a Superhit even there.

Sopnam films, which released the film in Kerala, is said to have recovered 200% of their investment in just a week and it shows the range of success. Koratala Siva and Mahesh are being praised for making a film, with a social message very beautifully with all the commercial elements.
