Speaking at the success meet of 'Selfie Raja', Allari Naresh said that, in terms of collections, it is next only to 'Sudigadu'. "I won't say our film got this much and that much. I will only say that this film is next only to 'Sudigadu'. We started off with the shoot on Dec 4 of last year. Till the last day, I was cautious about the budget not getting exceeded, completion on schedule, etc. My father used to say that our film should never put our distributors, exhibitors and producer in trouble. I am very happy that 'Selfie Raja' has made everyone happy".

He further said that Sridhar Seepana, Diamond Rathna Babu, cinematography Loknath and others had worked very hard from the beginning.

Director G Eshwar Reddy said, "Although I teamed up with Allari Naresh gain after two years, I was a bit tensed until Jagapathi Babu garu and Nithin garu called me up and congratulated me after the film's release. I thank Naresh garu for keeping faith in me and doing the film. I am ready to do a hat-trick with him. Sai Karthik's BGM is apt".

Diamond Rathna said that the comedy of Prudhvi and Tagubothu Ramesh have been especially liked by the audience.
