The former Disney star opened up about her mental health and how she had to take bed rest because her health was crippling because of so many reasons.

Today`s generation is most prone to mental illnesses and the worst part is that no one almost talks about it.

So, celebrities like Selena Gomez, talking about it and opening up about mental illness is actually a huge progress for those who find it difficult to open about their own illnesses.

Speaking in an interview, the Slow Down songstress opened up saying “A little while ago I was actually on bed rest, and it`s probably the worst time to watch “Heaven Knows What” or the “Best Time”, depending on your mental state,”

“I ended up becoming extremely fascinated with the boys and kind of forced them to become my friend a little bit.” She explained.

“For me, personally, I really liked the mental aspect of it, because I`ve done a lot of those exercises that you put in it,” she remembers.

“So, the beginning of the movie stuck with me because I actually… I`m very open, it`s not really a secret, but I, for sure, have talked about that, and I`ve done a lot of those exercises.” She gives in.

"I go to therapy. I believe in that and talking about where you are,” she talks about her going to therapy as it helps her heal.

“But I`m in a really, really healthy place." She concluded.

Good for you, Selena! We hope you stay healthy and “Kill Em with Kindness”
