Selena Gomez who has kept a low profile about her personal life since the split with Justin Beiner has once again managed to make headlines as fans are convinced that she is dating the 'Captain America' star, Chris Evans.

It all started back in 2015 when Selena admitted to having a crush on the Captain America star. A viral TikTok shows Selena saying, "I kind of have a crush on Chris Evans. Isn't he cute? ... He's very cute," before adding, "He's either gonna hate me or love me for saying that."

Keen to manifest their relationship into existence, some Twitter users reported that Selena and Chris had been spotted leaving the same studio and restaurant at different times on 1 October 2021 which later turned out to be old photos of Selena from 2019 and 2017. While the pictures of Chris wee clicked in 2020 and 2013.

Although the pair is yet to confirm or deny the rumour, they are both currently single. Chris Evans act of following Selena on Instagram paved the way for the rumours which the fans of both the stars want to be true.

One person tweeted, "[M]anifesting Selena Gomez with Chris Evans rumours become true," while another added, "Honestly if someone was going to date my man Chris Evans then I’m glad it’s Selena Gomez," and another wrote, "PLEASE CHRIS EVANS AND SELENA GOMEZ. HOLLYWOOD’S MOST ATTRACTIVE AND THE MOST POWERFUL COUPLE."

The public has long been obsessed with Selena's love life — which is part of what has led her to give up social media altogether. In March earlier this year, Selena opened up about the speculation surrounding her love life, telling the Los Angeles Times, "I think people only care because I’m young, and the older I get the less they’ll care. For now, it’s a part of the job that I don’t really like. I’m actually grateful that I’m not involved with anyone right now."
