'Sehar' [morning] is a small yet promising movie that is confirmed for a 29th July release and has already created a buzz [though with a select gentry that appreciates reality cinema]. Being noticed for it hard-hitting appeal, Sehar marks a tangential shift for Arshad Warsi's image.

Movie is designed as a hard hitting drama that narrates the journey of a young SSP [Arshad Warsi] in North India, who brings together a group of like-minded cops to challenge the nexus between politicians, mafia, police and builders.

Though at the root level, it may sound like just another cop movie; one is bowled over after looking at the intense promos that showcase the characters of brilliant actors like Pankaj Kapoor, Sushant Singh, Suhasini Mulay, Pratima Kazmi and number of RGV regulars.

Debutante Kabeer Kaushik's direction has a stark yet stylish look that gives glimpses of a crossover between 'Satya' and 'Haasil'. Produced by Ashvin J Patel, one never knows if 'Sehar' turns out to be 'Ardh Satya' of the 21st century!
