It is being rumoured for quite long that Isaignani Ilaiyaraja and his younger son Yuvan Shankar Raja will combine for the music score of a film to be produced by Yuvan and directed by Seenu Ramasamy with Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. There has been no official announcement about this project or about the Senior and Junior Rajas working together for the first time as dual music directors in the film.

Now director Seenu Ramasamy has opened up about this for the first time in his recent interview. The 'Dharmadurai' director confirmed that the title of his next film will be 'Mamanidhan' and it will be produced by Yuvan Shankar Raja with Vijay Sethupathi playing the lead role.

About Ilaiyaraja and Yuvan pairing up for the music, the director said it is true that talks are on for Ilaiyaraja and Yuvan working as dual music composers of the film but nothing has been finalised. He also said if the talks materialise, the official announcement has to come from the producer Yuvan
