Director Seenu Ramasamy's 'Idam Porul Yaeval' starring Vijay Sethupathi, Vishnu Vishal, Aishwarya Rajesh and Nandita in lead roles was ready for release in 2014. But the film is yet to see the light of day and three years have passed in the meantime.

Now in a recent Twitter interaction with a fan. director Seenu Ramasamy has said 'Idam Porul Yaeval' may release only if 'Uttama Villain' Kamal Haasan and 'Anjaan' Suriya consider about it.

It is widely believed that Lingusamy's Thirrupathi Brothers banner which produced 'IPY' had suffered severe losses from 'Uttama Vllain' and 'Anjaan; and that's Lingusamy could not release the film 'Idam Porul Yaeval'.
