A group of activists from the Rayalaseema region were on their way to Hyderabad to participate in a TV debate on 'Aravindha Sametha' when they met with a road accident on Tuesday.  The activists were to debate about why they think some of the scenes and dialogues in the NTR movie should removed.

It's learned that Jalam Srinu, an activist who was involved in fighting for the rights of fishermen, died in the accident.  Two others are seriously injured.

The accident took place somewhere around Kotthakota.

The demise of Srinu has shocked social activists who have seen him spearhead movements for fishermen.
