Secunderabad Agnipath violence: Trainer in Khammam arrested

On Friday, violence broke out on the premises of the Secunderabad railway station against the Narendra Modi government's Agnipath scheme. There have been allegations on social media that the protests were not spontaneous but pre-planned. Whatsapp groups like Justice for Army CEE and Hakimpet Army Soldier were created allegedly to orchestrate violence.
The news is that a trainer academy owner named A Subba Rao was today arrested in Khammam for allegedly instigating violence. He runs Sai Defence Training Academy at Narasaraopet in Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh.
The accused, who reportedly runs nine coaching centres in the two Telugu States, will next be interrogated either by the AP police or the Telangana police. At the time of writing, no clear plan of action was known. It is alleged that he floated 13 WA groups ahead of the Friday violence.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has condoled the demise of a youngster named Rakesh, who succumbed to injuries suffered during the Railway Police firing on Friday.
