One of the country’s biggest releases last year was Advait Chandan’s ‘Secret Superstar’which starred Zaira Wasim of ‘Dangal’ fame in the lead role. The film which has Aamir Khan as well performed splendidly at the national and international box offices and happened to release in China on January 19.

The film had reaped in a staggering profit of Rs.400 crores within the first ten days and Rs.500 crores at the end of the second week. Reportedly,the film has broken the record set earlier by Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ by earning Rs.72.68 crores in the Chinese Box Office. 

 It is also notable that Aamir Khan's 'PK' and 'Dangal' were phenomenal hits among the Chinese audience. Well, this might be a cue for more qualittaive regional films that might strike gold at the international film space.
