Rana Daggubati is currently doing a period film titled '1945'. Directed by Sathyasiva, the bi-lingual is titled 'Madai Thiranthu' in Tamil.

The news is that the film's second schedule has begun today. "Going to recreate time once again, Now it's the year 1945!! Filming for the second major schedule of my next #1945 begins today!!" Rana tweets.

A love story, the film chronicles a "story that blooms in the turbulent time when Subhash Chandra Bose was believed to be dead." Rana will be seen in a new look in this film.

Also starring Regina Cassandra and Nasser, the film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. After the death of Bose, the members of Indian National Army were leaderless, but large sections of the country, after the end of World War-II, rallied behind INA when many of its nationalistic soldiers who were booked for various offences by the British.
