'Sebastian P.C. 524' is a village-based movie where the village environment and pure love are key elements. The hero suffers from night blindness in this comedy thriller. Kiran Abbavaram, who made a distinct mark with 'Raja Varu Rani Varu' and 'SR Kalyanamandapam', has been a very busy artist. He is now seeking to impress the audience with this novel film. Produced by Jovitha Cinemas and presented by Elite Entertainment, the film is being produced by B Sidda Reddy, Jayachandra Reddy, Pramod and Raju. Namratha Darekar (aka Nuveksha) and Komali Prasad are its heroines. Ahead of the theatrical release of the comedy thriller on March 4, its pre-release event was held on Tuesday.
The event was attended by guests such as director Venky Kudumula, Venu Sriram, Mythri Movie Makers' Ravi Shankar, Cherry, senior actor Sai Kumar, actors Adivi Sesh, Akash Puri, Saptagiri, producer Kodi Divya, lyric-writer Bhaskarabhatla and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Cherry of Mythri Movie Makers said, "The trailer is interesting and the backdrop of night blindness for a constable who has to investigate a crime is an exciting premise. I congratulate Kiran for choosing such an intelligent script. He is a performer with great potential. Our movie with Kiran is going to be greatly interesting. Kiran is a sincere and multi-talented actor. He is aware of filmmaking crafts and is also a very good writer. He scored a hit with 'SR Kalyanamandapam' during the pandemic. I hope 'Sebastian P.C. 524' becomes a hit."
Producer Ravi Shankar said, "I have seen Kiran's movies and I am confident that he is going to become a great actor. Everyone has done a nice job in this film. Films set in the backdrop of Chittoor and Madanapalle have always been blockbusters. 'Pushpa' is a case in point. 'Sebastian P.C. 524' carries the same sentiment."
Actor Sai Kumar said, "I am reminded of the song 'Ammante' looking at 'Rajadhi Raja' in 'Sebastian P.C. 524'. I played Kiran's father in his previous movie. He is twirling his moustache in 'Sebastian P.C. 524' after making me do it in his previous movie. I am confident that Agni IPS is going to be proud of 'Sebastian P.C. 524'."
Director Venky Kudumula said, "I really loved the trailer. Kiran pics up nice concepts and he has got a great future. I wish the makers of 'Sebastian P.C. 524' all the best."
Actor Saptagiri said, "I am acting alongside Kiran in a movie. Kiran always thinks about cinema. I am confident that the Telugu film industry has got a long-lasting hero in him. Kiran wowed us with his previous movie and I am sure he is going to make us say 'Sabaash' with 'Sebastian P.C. 524'."
Actor Adivi Sesh said, "I really like Kiran. I have come here as his fan. He acted in a short film titled '1991' before I could make a film of that sort. Last year, I listened to a script that has the backdrop of night blindness. Just as I started wondering why nobody has done such a character previously, I came to know that Kiran was doing 'Sebastian P.C. 524'. That's why I like Kiran. He tries what nobody has done before."
Actor Akash Puri said, "I really like Kiran's acting. In Tamil, Sivakarthikeyan has made a mark for himself without any cine background. I wish that Kiran, too, becomes a big star like him in Telugu. I wish the whole team of 'Sebastian P.C. 524' all the best."
Producer Sidda Reddy said, "We are dedicating this movie to Kiran's brother, Ramanjulu Reddy. We are confident that everyone is going to love 'Sebastian P.C. 524'. I have seen the hard work of everyone from close quarters. Kiran's hardworking nature inspired us to produce this movie. Kiran is an encouraging person and treats everyone in the unit as a family member. Our banner wants to encourage newcomers. I hope this film becomes a hit not just for Kiran but also everyone."
Producer Pramod Raju said, "I and Siddha Reddy have been good friends. We have been software engineers for the past 15 years. Kiran is the reason we have chosen the path of movies. He has proved himself with his first two movies already. Director Balaji came to us with the concept of a hero suffering from night blindness. Kudos to Kiran for picking a challenging role. This March 4, he is going to prove that his performance in 'Sebastian P.C. 524' is better than that in his first two movies. It's sad that Kiran's brother is not with us here today. We dedicate this film to him! He worked really hard for this movie. 'Sebastian P.C. 524' has been made by a team of youngsters. Sridhar Gade was introduced with Kiran's previous movie. And now, it's the turn of Balaji with 'Sebastian P.C. 524'. Even though it's his debut movie, the director has done a great job. Every song by Ghibran is enjoyable. The content is never going to bore you even for a minute. Every actor and technician has done a great job."
Director Balaji Sayyapureddy said, "The film is going to be better than the trailer. The output is better than what I had visualized. The credit goes to my team and the producers who supported me day in and day out. Visually, the film is superior. The characters have got a dark shade. We shot the film in Madanapalle for 36 days. Komalee and Nuveksha have done well. The editor Viplav is going to become the best one. I narrated the story to Kiran in 2019. He accepted the story immediately. Others to whom I had narrated the story wanted me to make changes. But Kiran didn't force me to do any changes. Sebastian in this film is a true hero who doesn't break a promise. Kiran is a real-life hero. He has delivered a winning performance. You won't see the hero, you will only see the character. Thanks to Ghibran, the songs are great."
Actor Kiran Abbavaram said, "I thank the elders for being here to bless us. I see the opportunity to be in front of the camera as a blessing. The audiences have to be treated as guests because they spend their money on our movie. Everyone has worked on this film without sleeping adequately. I am confident of winning the audiences' respect. The mother-son sentiment is a special feature. The hero's mother tells him that she and her husband had to make a number of sacrifices to ensure he lands a job in the police department. She asks him not to reveal the fact about his night blindness lest people show pity on him. Everyone will surely love the emotions the film deals with. Ghibran gave the tunes in a short span of time. And his music is amazing. The producers have been very supportive. They were determined to complete the movie at any cost. You are going to experience the best technical output. From editing to art direction and sound mixing, everything has come out very well. My brother made many sacrifices for me. He supported me in every way to ensure that I become an actor. He wanted to see me at the top. Whatever love he gave me, I will give it back to him by working harder and harder. I feel extremely pained that he is no more. I want the audience to watch my movies only if they believe that the content is good. I am going to work with Deepthi, Cherry, Bunny Vasu, Allu Aravind garu for my upcoming movies. I like Adivi Sesh garu's acting. I am happy that Akash Puri is here today. See you all in theatres on March 4."
Komalee Prasad said, "Mine is not a regular character in the movie. More than the length of a character, how impactful it is, is more important. I hope Neelima is going to deliver that impact. I thank the makers for this opportunity. Kiran is highly hardworking."
Heroine Nuveksha said, "When the director narrated the story, I found it very interesting. Kiran has done a great job as a police officer. Our movie is going to be released on March 4."
