SC/ST Act row: Pawan Kalyan blames the Centre

The other day, Bharath Bandh resulted in arson and rioting in several towns in North India when protestors took to the streets against the Supreme Court's order to "dilute the SC/ST Atrocities Act.
On Wednesday, Jana Sena Party and the Communist Parties said that they believe the situation occurred because of the indifference of the Central government. "We request the government to give constitutional protection to this Act by including it in the Ninth Schedule. We request the President to involve in this matter. We demand the government to not do any actions that agitate the protesters," a statement from Pawan Kalyan and Communist leaders said.
The meeting was attended also by Jana Sena's representatives Arham Khan, Parthasarathi, Hari Prasad, K. Rajesh, CPM State Secretary P.Madhu and CPM representatives V. Srinivasa Rao, M.A. Gafoor, Y. Venkateshwar Rao, CPI State Secretary K. Rama Krishna and CPI representatives Muppalla Ramakrishna, J.V.V. Sathyanarayana Murthy, Jalli Wilson have attended.
Pawan Kalyan will participate in the Pada Yatra to be led by his party and Communists on April 6. This is to protest for Special Status to AP.
