The trend set by famous director Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar to release the screenplay of his film super hit film ‘America America’ in book format others are following it now.

Famous for two films ‘Mata and Eddelu Manjunatha’ director Guruprasad brought out the book format of screenplay of his two films. The first copies were handed over to the hero of both the films Navarasanayaka Jaggesh. It was an unofficial release of the book on last Sunday evening at Renukamba Digital screening hall.

When I searched for good actor who can evoke laughter it is only Jaggesh who stayed in my mind when I took up ‘Mata’. The second film ‘Eddelu Manjunatha’ also with Jaggesh reached 100 days and now I am trying for another film with Jaggesh stated Guruprsad.

In the last year the screenplay of yesteryears top film in Kannada ‘Sri Krishnadevaraya’ starring Dr Rajakumar, Jayanthi and Bharathi by doyen BR Panthulu in ‘Padmini Pictures’ was handed over to Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy.
