National award winning actress Keerthy Suresh will be seen next in the movie Penguin directed by debutant Eashvar Karthic and produced by director Karthik Subbaraj's Stone Bench films and Passion Studios together.
This movie which is touted to be a thriller will have Keerthy Suresh playing a mother named Rhythm, and co-stars Linga, Madhampatty Rangaraj and many others and has music by Santhosh Narayanan. Penguin is set to premiere on Amazon prime video on June 19. As the movie releases in a week, director Eashvar has revealed interesting details about it.
Penguin was written in just 18 days and the movie was shot in 36 days. During the shooting in Kodaikanal, a scary incident took place as the shooting lights fell on a beehive and disturbed the bees, which stung many crew members including Keerthy Suresh, and it was after treatment that Keerthy and the team resumed shooting. The movie has a suspense maskman character which nobody in the team knew, and even Keerthy was informed who plays the role only after the shooting.
