Scam in ladies hostel; Girls discover secret cameras

In a shocking incident, a ladies hostel in Chennai is in the news because a man associated with the hostel had installed secret cameras in the bedrooms and bathrooms of the inmates.
It all started when a few girls turned suspicious that they were being watched. Using a hidden camera detector app, they discovered that the unthinkable did happen. Hidden cameras had been secretly placed by the accused in the lights, switchboard and clothes hangers, among others.
Since they are tiny, nobody could see them with the naked eye without an extra effort.
About 16 hidden cams have been traced. The police have arrested the accused and are interrogating him to find out if he has links with porn sites. Usually, such sophisticated crimes happen only due to the involvement of an organized gang.
