Scam: Fake site cheats employees in India

Have you received an SMS or Whatsapp forward telling you that you might just get Rs 80,000 from Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) if you worked between the period 1990 and 2019? Be sure that it's a fake thing. You will be cheated if you believe it.
EPFO’s official Twitter handle has warned everyone against the scam.
Here is the exact message you should be wary of: “The workers who worked between 1990 and 2019, have the right to get the benefits of Rs 80 000 by EPFO of India. Check if your name is in the list of the people who have the right to withdraw this benefit: https://socialdraw.top/epf”.
Entering your Universal Account Numbers (UAN), PAN or Aadhaar details in fake websites can prove to be costly. Not only will your privacy be breached but also your EPFO money might be taken away by fraudsters.
www.epfindia.gov.in is the actual website.
