In a breaking news, the Supreme Court has stated that the state itself could decide to release the seven accused in the Rajiv Gandhi murder case. It’s a well-known fact that 7 people including Perarivalan, Santhan have been held in prison for over 20 years in the Rajiv Gandhi murder case.

Political parties and leaders have been voicing out for the release of the accused in the case. And today, SC Judge Ranjan Gogoi has stated that Tamil Nadu can decide itself on releasing the 7 accused in the case. It is worth mentioning here that by this announcement, the SC has brought the case of the center against this.
