Savyasachi’, released last Friday, has reportedly earned a share of Rs 8 Cr or thereabouts (worldwide) in 3 days. Starring Naga Chaitanya and Madhavan, the thriller has to make more than Rs 14 Cr for breakeven.
On Day 1 itself, it was clear that the Chandoo Mondeti directorial will have it hard. Negative reviews did the film in to an extent. The premise was not emploited by the director as he should have. But Chay is pinning hopes.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film will face competition from Vijay’s Sarkar (November 6th release) and Thugs Of Hindostan (November 8th release).
