District collector of Kozhikode, Prasanth N. Is known for his philanthropic activities and good deeds. He very concerned about the welfare of the people and had been vociferous in various issues. He belongs to the rare breed of young civil service brigade who take up issues and adhere to the rules and regulations. The collector is very active in social media and has a great fan following there. Yesterday, he made a post in Facebook starting with Savari-giri-giri` warning the owners and staff of private buses against ill-treatments the students receive from the bus staff during the to and fro journey. The authorities were receiving lot of complaints from students regarding misbehaving, discrimination, not allowing to travel etc. Now the collector has started an initiative named Savari giri giri and the post dealt mainly on this topic.

The punch dialogue Savari giri giri was taken from the hit film of Superstar Mohanlal Ravanaprabhu which was the directorial debut of director Ranjith. It was a sequel of another hit film of Mohanlal named Devasuram which was scripted by Ranjith. So, the collector bro is now in action. And we wish all success to the initiative and wish that it may solve all the problems related with the student journey.
