Suhani, who played child artiste in 'Manasanta Nuvve', and became popular with the song 'Tooneegaa. Tooneegaa.' was introduced as heroine through 'Savaal' directed by B Jaya.

It is worth mentioning here that B Jaya had earlier made some hit films like 'Chantigadu and Gundammagari Manavadu'. She had also introduced cute faces like Kamna Jethmalani and Suhasini to the Telugu film industry, now chose this bubbly face to give her debut appearance through 'Saval'.

The basic story is about love and she tried to mould with a different narration but it turned out to be an old fashioned and commercial formula direction.

Tirupati (Bharat) is an orphan, who is ready to sacrifice anything for the sake of a slum, which brings him up. He ekes out his living by selling film tickets in black market. Keertana (Suhani), accidentally meets him at a theatre and they had an altercation there. On one occasion, Tirupati helps Narasimham (Sayaji Shinde), a CI, from goons and the latter decide to use the intelligent Tirupati as a pawn to earn compliments from higher ups and pleads with to be his informer. With the information given by Tirupati, Narasimham catches anti-social elements and gets promotion as ACP. So, Narasimham throws a party to Tirupati and cleverly the latter records the entire conversation between them in a mobile phone. He calls Tirupati as low-class youth. After the party, Narasimham challenges to win the love of a girl and dares that it is impossible. Then Tirupati learns that Keertana is none other than Narasimham's daughter and agrees to the challenge (Savaal). Narasimham accepts to pay Rs 10 lakhs if he could win her heart. Did Tirupati win the heart of Keertana? What kind of tricks Narasimham play to thwart Tirupati's attempts. Did Keertana married Tirupati? How Tirupati teaches a lesson to Narasimham who called him a low-class youth? Answers to all these questions form part of the climax.

Bharat of '10th Class'-fame played hero. Despite facing camera for a couple of films, Bharat failed to improve his voice modulation and physical histrionics. He should show ease in all the departments including dances and fights.

Director Jaya succeeded in introducing yet another good face to the Telugu film industry. Suhani is gorgeous and gave good performance in the film. Dialogues are partly good. Especially the satires on private television channels, especially on the Telugu news channels, are hilarious. However, their repetition caused boredom to certain extent. Sayaji Shinde is as usual good with his comedy.

As far as technical aspect, director Jaya followed an old fashioned narration. Confusing screenplay, absence of sentiment scenes, repeated and similar comedy tested the patience of audiences.

Editor Avula Venkatesh should have sharpened his scissors to cut the fat and unnecessary scenes involving Krishna Bhagawan, MS Narayana, AVS which are really not necessary.

It is pity that the director failed to utilise the services of these talented comedians. Jessey Gift could not attract the people with his tunes and almost all the songs helped the audiences to have a break and enjoy a cigarette.

Re-recording is also not impressive. As a whole the film neither could attract the youth, nor it has any other elements that could attract the family audiences.
