Filmmaker Satish Kaushik who makes his debut in directing a comedy with ‘Gang Of Ghosts’ is leaving no stones unturned to make the film into a complete entertainer. Buzz is that the director, who had written the dialogues for comic cult ‘Janne Bhi Do Yaaro’ (1983), now pens not just the dialogues of his upcoming comedy, but has also written the lyrics of a song from the Bengali film ‘Bhooter Bhabishyat’ which will feature in the comedy.

Having bought the rights of a Bengali song from ‘Bhooter Bhabishyat’, the director has adapted the song into Hindi with his own inputs. Confirming the news said Satish Kaushik, "I have adapted the title song into Hindi. It is a funny song with a retro feel. It has been composed by new music directors Dharam and Sandeep."

Song-and-dance, drama, romance, action and even an item number, ‘Gang Of Ghosts’ has all the ingredients of a filmi masala as well as some food for thought.

In fact, we found out that Mahie Gill, Anupam Kher, Meera Chopra, Rajpal Yadav and others will be seen gyrating to a medley of popular yesteryear chartbusters in this ‘Gang Of Ghosts’. The tracks include "Lal dupatte wali" and "Tu cheez badi hai mast mast" along with the songs of films like ‘Dhadkan’ and ‘Saajan’.

Said Kaushik, "The situation for the song was apt to weave together known tracks from the production house's earlier films. It's also been a while since we had a medley of songs in a film. It adds to the fun-filled situation." The song has been shot on the beaches in Thailand.

Venus Records and Tapes Pvt Ltd.’s ‘Gang of Ghosts’ went on floors this June and also stars Chunkey Pandey and Saurab Shukla.
