Sathyaraj to play Mahesh's dad

Sathyaraj, who earlier played dad to Prabhas in Mirchi, will be seen in a similar role in Mahesh Babu`s forthcoming film "Brahmotsavam", directed by Srikanth Addala.

Since the makers are projecting the family drama as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, they believe Sathyaraj's presence will help push the film`s reach in Tamil. The film is expected to go on floors later in this month and is scheduled for release next year during Sankranti festival. Mickey J Meyer is providing the tunes.
