Sathyaraj confers a special title on Suriya ahead of the 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan' release!

Top actors in Indian cinema are always best known by their titles. In Tamil cinema, Rajinikanth goes by the title 'Superstar', Kamal Haasan is called 'Universal Hero', Vijay is known as 'Thalapathy, Ajith Kumar goes by the name 'Ultimate Star' and Vikram is fondly called 'Chiyaan'. Now, veteran actor Sathyaraj has given a special title to Suriya.

Suriya is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming mass entertainer, 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan', written and directed by Pandiraj. Bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran's Sun Pictures, a press meet event marking the trailer launch of the film took place with the cast & crew in Chennai. Speaking at the press meet, actor Sathyaraj announced that he is conferring the title 'Puratchi Naayagan' on Suriya.

Following this, fans are expecting that the films' title credits will read 'Puratchi Naayagan Suriya' starting from the rural entertainer 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan'. The trailer of 'ET' was released earlier today and received a huge response from the fans. Suriya will be seen as an advocate and vigilante who fights injustice against women in the movie.

Priyanka Mohan is paired with Suriya in 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan' while Vinay Rai plays the villain. The film also stars Soori, Ilavarasu, Redin Kingsley, Rajkiran, Saranya Ponvannan, CWC Pugazh, Ramar and MS Bhaskar. D Imman is scoring music with visuals and cuts by R. Rathnavelu and Ruben, respectively.
