Actor Suriya celebrates his birthday today, and while fans from across the world are celebrating his birthday on social media as well as by involving in welfare activities, celebrities and the actors who have worked with Suriya are also seen showering wishes to the actor on social media.

Actor Sathyaraj is not on any social media, but has released a special video wishing Suriya, through his son actor Sibiraj's social media handle. Sibiraj posted the video captioning it "Heartfelt wishes from Appa and our entire family anna!" and the video had a lovely message from Sathyaraj.

Sathyaraj says in the video that he had held Suriya as a baby and since then every year he has been wishing him either via phone call or via whatsapp but this year he has posted his wish on social media, as he felt proud of Suriya taking up a social cause and voicing out against the draft National education policy, and said that despite being a mass hero and knowing the problems he might face, Suriya doing this was great and that he feels proud of his work and wished Suriya a happy birthday.
