Sathyan Anthikkad, the most demanded director on the Mollywood circuit is celebrating his fifty this year. As you may well think off, this is not about his fifty years in films, but his fiftieth movie which is getting completed at his lucky location, Kozhikode. As usual this longstanding companion to big family hits, has not yet named his new movie. Featuring Jayaram and Mamtha in key roles, the movie scripted by the director will tell the story about the life and chaos at a metro city through the viewpoints of an auto driver. Jayaram appears as Preman, the auto driver with big dreams. Together with his usual cast of Innocent, K P A C Lalitha and Mamukoya, the movie is planned for this Vishu.

Sathyan Anthikkad who debuted around 27 years ago into filmdom has converted half of his movies into big hits which includes modern day classics like Nadodikkattu, Sanmanasullavarkku Samadhanam, Pattanapravesham, Sandesham, Gandhinagar Second Street, Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal, and Achuvinte Amma. His last seven movies were continuous hits at the box office.
