Popular director of family films, Sathyan Anthikkad asked the various battling filmy associations to go for an introspection about their actual intentions. He maintains that the efforts to improvise the current situation of the industry which is running into continuous losses, must be given first place than to clear petty egos that exists between members of film associations.

The director was speaking to the media at the Kollam Press Club in association with the promotion of his new movie 'Katha Thudarum'. Sathayan added that everyone must remember that these feuding associations will only exist, if the regional cinema remains popular. The director was in the opinion that the issue with Thilakan is also not an irresolvable one. He added that he will definitely call in Thilakan for his movies, if any of his character demands the finesse of such an actor.
