Sathyan Anthikad is one of the directors who even after his consistent history with super hits managed to make every film in the soil of the state itself. He always opted for simple, straight forward stories of the ordinary people.

People loved his films for the subtle humor and simple narratives. But now the director is looking to other states to plan his next story.

The news is that Sathyan will shoot in Kolkatta for his next venture in which Dileep will appear in the lead. This is the first time Dileep is acting in the lead in a Sathyan film.

Dileep has been with Sathyan in Thooval Kottaram in which Dileep played a small role as the brother of Jayaram, who was in the lead.

In this flick which is a love story, Dileep will appear as a youth who deny sharing any responsibilities of the age.

Mukesh also will play a prominent role in a Sathyan film, for the first time in his career. The director is at present busy with the final corrections in the script of the film, which is planned to get started by the next month.
