Sathuranga Vettai Music Review

Ever since the veteran actor cum director, Manobala said he is producing a movie with newbies, this project got some attention going. With Sean Roldan, who has already delivered a intriguing OST (Vaayai Moodi Pesavum) this one got its own weightage. Sean is definitely here to stay for a long time. Hope his experiments continue for a long time.

Singer: Sean Roldan

Sean packs a heavy punch with his thunderous voice with GKB's hard hitting lyrics. The electric guitars rule this short track. The prelude dialogue reminds us of the great, M.R. Radha, taking a dig at mindless people. This could well be the showpiece tune of the movie, given the glimpse of story line from the trailer.

2. Kaadhala Kaadhala  Listen here

Singer: Kalyani Nair

An ambient melody where guitars take centre stage once again. Vairamuthu pens his magic to this lovely tune. Though other instruments gels well (especially Tabla) with the guitar, the composer maintains the free flow of guitar throughout. Kalyani utters Vairamuthu's tamizh brilliantly without any pronunciation error.

Singer: Sean Roldan

This is a song which preaches the importance of earning money. Once again, Sean has used guitars in a brilliant fashion which makes us feel that  he is quite attached to it. Like, Yaemarum Janame, Sean's energy lifts the song. To match the current trend, the song ends within 200 seconds. A very good listen for its mixing alone.

4. Munne yen munne  Listen here

Singer: Satya Prakash

One of the splendid find from the much celebrated music competition, Satya Prakash does complete justice to this, violin based number. Sean has got an excellent team which handles every instrument with utmost finesse. The flute which revolves around the tune is absolutely mesmerizing.

5. Porappa Nadappa  Listen here

Singer: Anthoney Dasan

Sean somehow finds a perfect tune for Anthonry in his every outing. With his previous experiments with folk based kuthu, Anthoney delivers another winner here. Sean tried to mix Kuthu & Electronic sounds, and makes an interesting combo.
