Do you read Newspapers on a daily basis? Well, if your answer is yes, you will go on a time travel to witness all the different types of scandals and scams/fraudulent activities. The movie takes no time to set in, the credit rolls with a simple message stating; inspired from real events. Though we graze the news by reading the general message, very few would do the root analysis. Debutante, H. Vinoth has done a fantastic job by analyzing the root cause of all the scams and webbed an interesting screenplay.

Natraj has transformed himself to Gandhi Babu who plots deceptive plans to make easy money from various fraudulent activities. His displayed a majestic body language and a classy dialogue delivery throughout the movie. The first episode with Ilavarasu and the character of 'Ilayathalapathi Vijay' is a ten thousand wala cracker to start off. The MLM episode which follows the first con adds terrific value to humour quotient. Eventually Gandhi Babu gets arrested in one of his mainstream business only to show how money spins to save a person who gets caught with all the evidence.

The first half sparks like a gun loaded with premium bullets all over. The usage of animation in the protagonist's flashback is not a new one for Tamil audience but it does make sense for the script. The second half takes its time to regain the momentum but that is okay, considering the narration never makes you to take different positions in your seat. The dialogues are razor sharp and often make heavy dents at popular theories just like that by comparing to them to the current scenarios.

The events unfold like a novel which lets you to predict the climax but surprise you in the last sentence by serving a poignant twist. Ponvannan has chipped in as an honest police office and his role makes Gandhi Babu to realize his mistakes to some extent. The movie definitely holds its share of cliches and questionable events, they all take a back seat, at least, till the time you're at the hall.

The writing shows how the entire society is craving for money and what kind of justifications it can give to achieve the 'Paper Weapon'. The narration happens like a textbook by introducing us to four different chapters and all of these are unique. The amount of detailing has gone in to capture, MLM, Gold Quest, and Iridium which pulls rice are served so delightfully. You will be enthralled so see what kind of intelligence needed to deceive large amount of people. Watch out for the character that speaks in pure Tamil and performs assaults in a brand new manner.

Sean Roldan's songs gets proper place in the narrative order. Venkatesh captures the rural tone and puts perfect lighting for indoor sequences. Overall, the movie travels like an express train which stops at unexpected signals.

Verdict : An original attempt which stands tall with an unthinkable screenplay and fantastic dialogues.
