After the announcement of the name of the director and producer, Vijay's 60th film which is in its nascent stages has become a hot topic.

Last week it was announced that the all important 60th film of Vijay is going to be directed by Bharathan and produced by Vijaya Productions. The inclusion of Madhie as cinematographer and Praveen KL as Editor of this flick were confirmed in the announcements that followed.

Now we have a confirmation on an important cast member of this coveted project. Actor Sathish who paired up with Vijay as the lead comedian in the A.R.Murugadoss directed blockbuster 'Kaththi' has been roped in for an important role in 'Vijay 60'.

Sathish has confirmed the news in his Official Twitter handle with the hashtag #Thanks to Ilayathalapathy. Within a few minutes this has started trending in all India level Twitter as yet another proof for the fan following of Vijay in Social media.

The role of comedy artists in Vijay films have always been crucial and the star's comic timing is well known to everyone. Sathish's combo with Vijay provided real fun moments in 'Kaththi' and we can be confident that the duo will repeat the magic in 'Vijay 60' as well.
