This is the busiest time of the year for filmy folks in Tamil Nadu. With the Pooja hols come a host of films most of which are from big banners lining up for releases.

Director Sargunam is known for his very down-to-earth films, which turn out to be a hit with the audience. He along with his team (this time with his 'Kalavani' hero Vimal) is gearing up for the release of 'Vaagai Sooda Vaa,' which is all set to release across theatres in the state on September 30.

In this film the director's good friend Vimal is the hero and Iniya plays his heroine. Produced by yet another pal of the director Muruganandham, 'Vaagai Sooda Vaa' comes with a rustic village feel which is sure to impress the audience.

Set in the 1960s the film is touted to get a pat from the audience for the real-looking sets as well as for the authentic village feel. The satellite rights for the film has been bagged by Sun TV, talks are going on as to who would bag the theatrical rights of 'VSV.'

Director and actor K. Bhagayaraj plays a very prominent supporting role in the film.
