Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Petta' directed by Karthik Subbaraj has sparked a lot of surprises to movie buffs and Rajini fans. This will be a true blue multi-starrer which stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddique, Simran, Trisha, Megha Akash and Bobby Simha in important roles.

If these are not enough here comes another surprise addition to the already stupendous star cast of this Sun Pictures production venture.

It has been just confirmed that actor-director Sasikumar has joined the star cast of the film and he will be acting in an important role in 'Petta'. However the official confirmation about Sasikumar's addition to the film is yet to arrive from Sun Pictures the production house. We can expect that will happen soon. This will be many firsts for Sasikumar, This will be his first film with Superstar, director Karthik Subbaraj and Sun Pictures.

'Petta' has music score of Anirudh Ravichander and the shooting of the film is nearing completion.
