Actor-Producer Sasikumar's 'Balle Vellaiyatheva' will be hitting the screens on December 23, 2016 for the Christmas Holiday weekend. This will be the 'Nadodigal' actor's fourth release of the year as a lead actor.

The year started with the release of director Bala's 'Tharai Thappattai' in which Sasi played the lead role apart from bankrolling the project under his Company Productions banner. The film released on January 14, 2016 for the Pongal festival season in January. 'Vetrivel' directed by debutant Vasanthamani release on April 22. The actor's third release of the year 'Kidaari' came to screens on September 2.

With 'Balle Vellaiyatheva' adding up for December, Sasikumar has had one release in every quarter of 2016. Sasikumar has also produced three out of these four except 'Vetrivel' which was produced by Ravindran of Trident Arts banner.

'Balle Vellaiyatheva' has been directed by debutant Solai Prakash. The film stars Sasikumar and Tanya the granddaughter of yesteryear star Ravichandran in lead roles. This Tanya's first release as a heroine. The film's strong supporting cast includes Kovai Sarala, Sangili Murugan, Rohini, Bala Singh and many others.

Darbuka Siva who made his debut as a music director with Sasikumar's previous film 'Kidaari' has done the musical score for this film also. Ravindranath Guru has taken care of cinematography while Praveen Antony has handled the Editing.

It is worth noting that actor Suriya's 'S3' directed by Hari will be hitting the screens on December 23 on humongous scale.
