Prominent actor-director Sasikumar is riding high on the success of his latest film, "Nandhan," which has received a warm reception from audiences. Building on this momentum, the pooja ceremony for his next project took place today in Chennai, sparking excitement among fans and industry insiders alike.
The exciting news is that Sasikumar will be collaborating with renowned actress Simran for this upcoming film. Produced by Million Dollar Studios and MRP Entertainment—known for their hits like "Good Night" and "Lover"—the untitled project promises to be a significant addition to their filmography. Fans are eager to see what magic this duo will create in their upcoming project.
Debutant Abishan Jeevinth will direct this much-awaited venture. The film will feature a score by the talented Sean Roldan and cinematography by Aravind Viswanathan. Principal photography is set to begin in October and the team aims to release the film during the summer holidays next year.
The ensemble cast includes a range of talented actors such as Mithun Jayashankar, Kamalesh, Yogi Babu, Ramesh Thilak, MS Bhaskar, and Bhagavathi Perumal. Interestingly, while both Sasikumar and Simran appeared in the blockbuster "Petta," starring Superstar Rajinikanth, they did not share any scenes.
