Director Muthiah is well known for his raw rural films that aptly depict the lifestyle of a particular landscape. His films also deal with human relationship and carry a lot of sentiment value. His first film 'Kutty Puli' was about mother-son relationship where as the second film 'Komban' is the conflict and affection between a son-in-law and his father-in-law. In his last film 'Marudhu', the hero's grandmother had an important role.
Now Muthiah is directing his fourth film titled as 'Kodi Veeran' with his debut film hero Sasikumar. The film also stars Poorna, Sanusha and Mahiba Nambiar as female leads. Vidharth is also playing an important role in the film.
We learn from a reliable source that the film will have Anna-Thangachi (elder brother-younger sister) affection as its core. There are so many popular hit films dealing with brother-sister relationship right from Sivaji Ganesan's 'Pasamalar' to Vijay's 'Thirupachi' and Ajith's 'Vedalam'.
