Director Ponram has been known for his comedy entertainer movies like Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, Rajinimurugan and had last delivered Seemaraja, all of them starring Siva Karthikeyan and all of them doing great business at the box office.

Next, the director is all set to begin his fourth movie, and this time around he's going direct Siva Karthikeyan, but another rural hero. Director and actor Sasikumar, who's currently starring in movies like Kombu Vatcha Singamda and Kennedy Club will play the lead in Ponram's next.

The movie will also have veteran actor Rajkiran in an important role. Rajkiran was earlier a part of Ponram's Rajinimurugan which emerged a superhit. This movie starring Sasikumar and Rajkiran will also be a rural entertainer with loads of sentiments and comedy.
