Multi-faceted Sasikumar plays a Superstar Rajinikanth fan in his forthcoming film 'Sundara Pandian'. It's said that the actor imitates Rajini's classic styles in some scenes, as an ode to the Superstar. There's an entire song in this style, say sources in the know.

Sundara Pandian starring Sasikumar and Lakshmi Menon is an out and out romantic entertainer and also sees Inigo Prabhakaran, Vijay Sethupathy in pivotal roles. National Award winning Appukutty will be seen in a different avatar in this film. Meanwhile it’s also said that Sasikumar will be seen in a different look in his next film!

Sundara Pandian that's set in Theni has music by Raghunandan. It's produced by Sasikumar under his Company Productions banner and is helmed by debutant SR Prabhakaran who has earlier worked with Sasikumar in a couple of projects.

'Sundara Pandian' is touted to release on September 14.
