Looks like Sasikumar is keen to repeat ‘Subramaniapuram’ magic. The actor-producer-director, who is playing the lead role in ‘Poraali’ besides producing it, will share the screen space with Swathi, the ‘Kangal Irandaal…’ girl.

The film directed by Sasikumar’s good friend Samuthirakani will also have Vasundhara Chitralekha Iyer of ‘Vattaram’ and ‘Peranmai’ fame in a crucial role. “The movie is taking shape fast,” sources say.

“Each and every man has to fight against something in his life. This is the basic knot of the story, which will have popular Telugu hero Allari Naresh in an important role,” according to circles close to the unit.

For those with bad memory, Samuthirakani played the wicked Chithappa role in ‘Subramaniapuram’ directed by Sasikumar and Sasikumar was one of the protagonists in Samuthirakani’s ‘Naadodigal’. And again, both worked together in ‘Easan’.
