Sasikumar joins hands with Vijay Sethupathi's twin hit director

This year was a mixed bag for Sasikumar with Thaarai Thappattai` and Balle Vellaiyatheva` becoming resounding flops while Vetrivel` and Kidaari` could not match his other hits.

Now we learn from reliable sources that Sasikumar wanting to start 2017 with a bang is gearing up to star in a new film directed by Arun Kumar of Pannaiyarum Padminiyum` and Sethupathi` fame. The official announcement and shoot is set to begin in mid January and the film is planned as a Summer release.
