After 'Tharai Thappattai' and 'Verivel' actor Sasikumar has started shooting for a new film which is expected to make it to the screens as his third release of the year 2016. This film is being directed by Prasath Murugesan a former associate of director Vasantha Balan.

Now Sasikumar has revealed some important details about the film. he has confirmed that the film has been titled as 'Kidaari' and that is also his character's name in the film. The first schedule has been completed.

'Kidaari' was earlier touted to be the title of actor-director Samuthirakani's ambitious period flick, but now he seems to have given the title to his good friend Sasikumar.

Suba Varunee reportedly plays the female lead in this film. Darbuka Siva of 'Rajathandhiram' fame is making his debut as a music composer with this film. S.R.Kadhir is handling the camera. Sasikumar is producing the film under his Company Productions banner.
