Sasikumar meets with his long-time Bollywood friend

Sasikumar is a famous Tamil director and actor who received critical acclaim for his debut work 'Subramaniapuram' in 2008. The recent trending news is that Sasikumar recently met well-known Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap. Anurag Kashyap made his debut in Tamil cinema as an antagonist in Nayanthara's ‘Imaikka Nodigal’.

Sources say that the two directors met in Mumbai and the meeting went on for two hours. Sasikumar took to his Twitter page to express his excitement about meeting the director. Sharing a picture of him with Anurag Kashyap with a background of books, Sasikumar wrote, “Met @anuragkashyap72 after a long time, the creator I respect (sic).” This picture is now going viral among cinema lovers.

Meanwhile, it is already a known fact that Anurag Kashyap has been a big fan of Sasikumar since 2008. In the past, Anurag stated that he made the two-part Hindi flick, ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, highly inspired by Sasikumar's ‘Subramaniyapuram’, which made him make a raw gangster movie. Kashyap even thanked Sasikumar for inspiring him through his official Twitter handle.
