Sasikumar is a famous director turned actor in the Kollywood industry. Now, the director Sathyasiva of 'Kazhugu' fame is all set to direct Sasikumar in his next movie. The latest buzz is that the Sandalwood actress Haripriya is likely to play the heroine in this untitled film.

Haripriya had debuted in Tamil with the film Kanagavel Kaaka, starring Karan, in 2010. Then, she appeared in films like Arjun's action film Vallakottai and the thriller Muran, which had Cheran and Prasanna in lead roles. She had then gone to focus on Kannada and Telugu films. The actress is returning to Tamil films after 10 years with this project.

Sathyasiva opened up that he roped in Haripriya in this unnamed project as he was impressed with her performance as the female lead in his previous directorial 'Bell Bottom' remake. Apart from Sasikumar and Haripriya, this movie also stars Vikranth, Tulasi and Madhusudhanan in prominent roles.

The team is planning to announce the title, shooting and other details regarding the film by next week, according to the director. On the technical side, Nivas K Prasanna is composing the music for this project. While Srikanth NB is doing the editing, the cinematography is going to be done by Raja Bhattacharjee. The art direction and stunts will be done by C Udayakumar and Mahesh respectively.

TD Raja of ESK Films International is financing this film. Meanwhile, Sathyasiva's 'Bell Bottom', which is a remake of the Kannada movie of the same name, starring Krishna, Mahima Nambiar and Haripriya, is awaiting the release.
