Sasikumar teams up with Raju Murugan in this new film? Title and other details revealed!

Sasikumar, the director turned actor, just delivered consecutive super hits 'Ayothi' and 'Garudan'. He is said to have signed a new movie with Olympia Movies who previously produced 'DaDa'. Sasikumar reportedly teamed up with acclaimed director Raju Murugan for this project titled 'Mother India'.

According to sources, actress Chaithra J Achar will be the leading lady in the movie. She won high praise for her performance in the Kannada film, 'Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B' earlier. Sasikumar and Raju Murugan's movie will mark her Tamil debut. Sean Roldan will compose the music for this much-awaited film.

Exciting news has emerged that the makers commenced the shooting of this movie a few days ago. 'Mother India' is said to be a rural family drama. This exciting collaboration will announced officially very soon. Meanwhile, Sasikumar is allegedly planning to make a comeback as a director by helming a web series based on the novel 'Kuttra Parambarai'.
