Meanwhile, ADMK legislature party leader V.K. Sasikala convened an emergency meeting with the ADMK MLAs at their party head quarters in Royapettah, Chennai.

With OPS gaining unanimous support from the citizens, Sasikala has told the MLAs that their rivals were plotting against them, and that its time they showed showed what they were made of.

"No force can destroy ADMK's unity" was the main verbalism that was circulated in the meet. Commenting on this, Minister Pandiarajan said that Panneerselvam had joined hands with the DMK with the intent of shattering the party.
