Former Tamil Nadu chief minister the late Jayalalitha's close friend and confidente Sasikala Natarajan was rushed to the Bowring hospital in Bengaluru after her oxygen levels started dipping alarmingly. Initial reports coming in from Bengaluru also suggests that Sasikala was having fever and breathlessness as well.
Hospital sources have confirmed that Sasikala's condition is stable and she is being treated with necessary tests undertaken. Sasikala has been housed in the Parpana Agrahara prison in Bengaluru where she has been serving her four year sentence in the disproportionate wealth case. She was scheduled to be released from prison on January 27th and her sudden illness just a week before that has shocked her followers.
