Sasikala granted parole for visiting ailing husband

After days of drama, Sasikala has been granted parole by prison authorities to visit her ailing husband Natarajan M. The jailed former AIDMK general secretary had earlier applied parole to visit her husband who is suffering from Kidney and Liver failures.
Natarajan has been on wait list for organ transplant since April and will be undergoing surgery soon. Her 15 day parole will mean that Sasikala will soon leave to Chennai to be with her husband during the surgery. Sasikala has been in Jail since February along with her relatives Ilavarasi and VN Sudhakaran who are also serving four years imprisonment.
