Srikanth is currently shooting for director Selvaraghavan's Telugu movie. On completion, the actor will join hands with director Sasi for a Tamil movie.

The actor made his debut in silver screen with Rojakootam, directed by Sasi. The movie went on to become a blockbuster. After a decent outing in his last Kizhakku Kadarkarai Salai, Srikanth was waiting for the right script and he soon got a call from his mentor Sasi informing him about this role.

Thrilled to work with Sasi again, Srikanth says that everything is in place for the movie to go to floors. Cinematography for the film is by Vijay K Chakravarthy who won accolades for his earlier film Bommarillu in Telugu which went on to become a blockbuster.

Search for the heroine is on.

On his Telugu movie, he says, “Initially I was supposed to play a guest role in Selva's movie. Thanks to Selva, my role was given an extension. In short, the movie is a love triangle and I come all through the movie.”
